About Me
Hello! My name is Asia (yes, London is my real middle name) and I'm a trilingual journalist from Rome, Italy. I love reading and writing about anything to do with history and travel (but also food, art, culture, the environment, and just about anything else). I've been lucky to visit some 30 countries, and even luckier to visit many many of these countries more than once.
Because I have so many interests, my work covers a pretty wide array of topics. I wear many hats. I've road tripped around Ireland to report on the resurgence of seaweed bathing; gone on a great white shark charter in Cape Cod to explore the rise of blue tourism in the area; participated in the centuries-old tradition of squid fishing on the Amalfi Coast; and traveled to the Canadian subarctic to report on the annual migration of beluga whales. The common thread with my work is that I'm drawn to the unexpected and the overlooked.
I obtained my master’s degree in magazine journalism and digital storytelling at New York University (NYU) in December 2022. In May 2020, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts) with a BA in journalism and history.
